Domaine de Tournelles is a small 15-hectare vineyard on the edge of the appellation, in Calignac. The vines flourish on the rolling hillsides, which are rich in melliferous vegetation. At the top of the valleys, the clay-limestone soil combined with plenty of sunshine allows the grapes to reach ideal ripeness. Today, the winegrower is committed to carrying out work in his vineyards with the minimum of intervention to encourage exchanges between animal and plant species, and to respect the exceptional biodiversity of the region.
A fresh, well-balanced, velvety red wine with a full-bodied palate. On the nose, refined notes of cocoa bean contrast with a fresh eucalyptus note. On the palate, the Cabernet is opulent and round. The tannins are supple and the finish lingers.
Cuvée de La Reine, with its elegant structure, is a seductive Sauvignon Blanc, pale in colour. The aromas are beautifully intense, with pineapple and grapefruit. The smooth, delicate palate is well-balanced with a controlled liveliness.
A fresh, crisp wine with a very intense nose of pineapple, grapefruit and white flowers, ending on notes of dried fruit. On the palate, the balance between liveliness and minerality is perfect.
