Château de Haute-Serre - Malbec wines from Cahors
The Château’s vineyards already existed in the Middle Ages and extended over nearly 1,000 hectares. They survived various religious wars and even figured on a gala menu in 1889. These are great, prestigious wines.

French Malbec AOP Cahors
Fruit, fine tannins and good length on the palate make this one of the rare Cahors that can be drunk right from its early years as well as after lengthy aging. The ‘terroir’ here transforms the Malbec grape into a very noble vintage.
French Malbec AOP Cahors
Bertrand-Gabriel Vigouroux was one of the first to use integral vinification in 400-litre barrels on rollers in the 2005 vintage, a technique that produces a very fine wine.
With no doubt, Géron Dadine is a “Vin Noir” of Cahors. Its deep dark robe already gives an idea of the high concentration of this wine. Its nose reveals perfumes of stewed black and red fruits enhanced by spicy hints. The mouth is coated by very long, tight, and elegant tannins that seem to never end.
French Malbec AOP Cahors
Icône wines are made from selected wine stock and hand-picked grapes. Aged for 24 months, only the best barrels are selected and blended to produce just 3,000 bottles a year. They embody the quintessential qualities of Haute-Serre.
Chardonnay IGP Côtes du Lot
Bertrand-Gabriel Vigouroux introduced Chardonnay, a grape that does well in the Haute-Serre ‘terroir’, then developed this rare, exceptional bottle.
Malbec brut sparkling rosé
A rare vintage where Malbec fizzes with fine bubbles. A singular, precious Malbec Brut Rosé, made using traditional methods, which exceeds existing standards.
