Maison Georges Vigouroux - Chateau de Haute Serre

Château de Haute-Serre - Malbec wines from Cahors

The Château’s vineyards already existed in the Middle Ages and extended over nearly 1,000 hectares. They survived various religious wars and even figured on a gala menu in 1889. These are great, prestigious wines, a reference.

Grand Vin Seigneur

French Malbec AOP Cahors

Fruit, fine tannins and good length on the palate make this one of the rare Cahors that can be drunk right from its early years as well as after lengthy aging. The ‘terroir’ here transforms the Malbec grape into a very noble vintage.

Château de Haute-Serre

Géron Dadine

French Malbec AOP Cahors

Bertrand-Gabriel Vigouroux was one of the first to use integral vinification in 400-litre barrels on rollers in the 2005 vintage, a technique that produces a very fine wine.

With no doubt, Géron Dadine is a “Vin Noir” of Cahors. Its deep dark robe already gives an idea of the high concentration of this wine. Its nose reveals perfumes of stewed black and red fruits enhanced by spicy hints. The mouth is coated by very long, tight, and elegant tannins that seem to never end.
