Visionary and pioneer, Georges Vigouroux has launched the family business in the luxury wine tourism in the 1980’s with the acquisition of the legendary Château de Mercuès Relais & Châteaux Hôtel**** and the creation of a vineyard and an amazing underground cellar.
Entering into the 21st Century the Vigouroux family wanted to completely open up to the world of wine and to make a case for their favourite wine variety, Malbec, but also for the fruits of the region’s agriculture – Quercy saffron and truffles.
